Workshop Q & A

1. What if I need to leave early or take a break?

That’s completely fine! You can step out whenever you need. There will be a quiet space available if you need a moment to yourself, and you’re welcome to rejoin when you’re ready.

2. Do I have to participate in the creative activity?

Participation is always optional. You’re invited to join in at your own pace and comfort level. You can choose to just listen, observe, or take part when you feel ready. There is no pressure to share or speak unless you want to.

3. What if I struggle with the creative activity or feel stuck?

This activity is designed to be flexible and accessible for everyone, regardless of skill level. There are no right or wrong ways to participate. If you need help or want to adapt the activity to better suit your needs, just let us know.

4. Will the group be large, and will I have to interact with everyone?

The group is intentionally small, capped at 10 participants, to create a more comfortable and relaxed environment. You are welcome to interact as much or as little as you like—whether that’s chatting with others or just being present.

5. What can I expect from the workshop environment?

The workshop will be held in a library space with a calm and quiet atmosphere. We will aim to minimize sensory distractions, but you’re welcome to bring any comfort items (headphones, fidgets, etc.) that help you feel more at ease.

6. What if I need accommodations?

If there’s anything we can do to make the workshop more accessible for you, please reach out ahead of time or let us know on the day. We want this to be a supportive and inclusive experience for everyone.

7. How do I make the payment?

Payment can be made by clicking on the booking link on this page. Payment is required before the workshop to secure your spot, as spaces are limited. If you have any concerns about this process, please get in touch.

8. Will there be time to ask questions or share my experiences?

Yes! There will be opportunities throughout the workshop for sharing and discussion, but only if you feel comfortable doing so. There’s no obligation to speak or share unless you want to.

9. What if I don’t know anyone or feel anxious about coming?

It’s completely normal to feel nervous in a new setting, especially in a group environment. The workshop is designed to be a safe and welcoming space. It’s okay to take your time to settle in and engage at your own pace.

10. What if I need support during the workshop?

There will be a facilitator available throughout the session. If you need anything—whether it’s a break or just someone to check in with—you’re encouraged to reach out.

11. Is there parking available?

Yes, there is free parking available behind the library and to the side. Please allow a little extra time to find a spot if you’re unfamiliar with the area.

12. Can I bring food or snacks?

The library does not allow eating inside, so please have a meal or snack before the workshop.

13. Are there toilet facilities?

Yes, toilet facilities are available on-site for your convenience.

14. Will I need to bring any materials?

No need to bring anything, all materials for the creative activity will be provided. Just bring yourself and any comfort items you may want.

15. How will the session be structured?

The session will begin with a brief introduction to the workshop, followed by some helpful information about the topic. We will then move into a creative activity. After the activity, there will be an optional time for sharing and reflection, and we will close with a short wrap-up. There will be opportunities to take breaks whenever you need them but there won’t be set break times due to timing restrictions.

16. Is there a refund policy?

Due to the limited number of spaces, refunds cannot be offered.
