My Story
Welcome! I'm glad you're here. After a life filled with creative pursuits such as owning my own baking business and working with children in various roles, I decided to channel my experiences into what felt like a better fit for me. My life journey, filled with mental health challenges and deep identity exploration, led me to share others' life journeys as a counsellor and art therapist.
Art has always been a refuge for me, a source of healing in my toughest moments, and nature has played a vital role in that healing process. These experiences inspired me to share the foundations of healing with others, no matter where they are on their journey. I completed my Diploma of Art Psychotherapy at Ikon Institute, where the combination of art psychotherapy and counselling classes sparked my interest in deep-rooted trauma and the impact of life experiences. This led me to further my studies and obtain my Diploma of Counselling and Psychotherapy at Ikon Institute. further along the line, I now hold a Bachelor of Counselling alongside my diplomas.
Sitting beside people as they laugh, cry, unpack their hardest hurts, and gain insights that help them move forward is an honour. My core values are grounded in providing a non-judgmental space where everyone feels safe to be their authentic selves, embracing all parts of who they are. I value safety and care in the gentlest way possible, always striving to create a supportive environment where true change can occur.
With qualifications in both art therapy and counselling, I use creative methods tailored to the needs of my clients. I offer in-home support, face-to-face sessions in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, and telehealth options. My past training includes working with youth and young people in residential care, focusing on trauma-approached care and support. Over the past couple of years, I have been working as a counsellor and art therapist with neurodivergent individuals while balancing my studies and participating in workshops and courses to stay updated with new frameworks and tools.
As a late-discovered autistic individual, my trauma and identity unpacking have driven my passion for supporting those who are newly discovering themselves. However, I create a warm and welcoming space for any neurotype seeking to navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, or general life stressors. Wherever you are on your journey, I will walk with you.
